WKWW Architects designs Education spaces for pre-school age children, students in kindergarten through 12th grade, and for adults. Some classroom designs serve both Sunday School and Weekday School educational programs. Our Education facility layouts consider security for student, teacher, and staff safety as well as incorporate the latest educational support technology. Many Education facilities also house Youth areas. The Youth areas often accommodate recreational activities, meals/snacks, various sized gatherings, and other Youth fellowship events. Pre-school and Youth areas can be designed with dedicated entrances to eliminate the need for access through other spaces.

Highland Presbyterian Church
Fayetteville, NC
The 33,000 square foot Christian Life Center has a dedicated gymnasium with high school size basketball court, volleyball court, and elevated walking and running track. There is a separate weight and exercise room and permanent bleacher seating for 150 spectators. A large welcome center area provides safe control of the area. The classroom wing has twelve preschool and children’s classrooms on the main floor and additional ten youth classrooms on the upper floor. The large play area enclosed by brick and wrought iron railings provides generous space for the active children’s programs. A small dining room for 100 was added next to the existing fellowship hall to provide a more intimate setting for smaller groups.
