Education/Youth

WKWW Architects designs Education spaces for pre-school age children, students in kindergarten through 12th grade, and for adults. Some classroom designs serve both Sunday School and Weekday School educational programs.  Our Education facility layouts consider security for student, teacher, and staff safety as well as incorporate the latest educational support technology. Many Education facilities also house Youth areas.  The Youth areas often accommodate recreational activities, meals/snacks, various sized gatherings, and other Youth fellowship events. Pre-school and Youth areas can be designed with dedicated entrances to eliminate the need for access through other spaces.

Saint Michael’s Catholic School

Cary, NC

The Kindergarten through 8th grade private school also serves as the faith formation classrooms for the parish.  The 54,000 square foot building has 18 classrooms to accommodate 450 students including a music lab, media center, science lab, computer lab, and language lab.  The style and materials complement the existing church, parish hall, and adult education building on the campus.  A playground and ball fields are located adjacent to the school.
