Education/Youth

WKWW Architects designs Education spaces for pre-school age children, students in kindergarten through 12th grade, and for adults. Some classroom designs serve both Sunday School and Weekday School educational programs.  Our Education facility layouts consider security for student, teacher, and staff safety as well as incorporate the latest educational support technology. Many Education facilities also house Youth areas.  The Youth areas often accommodate recreational activities, meals/snacks, various sized gatherings, and other Youth fellowship events. Pre-school and Youth areas can be designed with dedicated entrances to eliminate the need for access through other spaces.

Hayes Barton Baptist Church

Raleigh, NC

The 44,000 square foot Family Life Center fronts on Whitaker Mill Road in the Hayes Barton area of Raleigh.  The traditional Georgian style building matches the existing 1964 campus and has a 7,500 square foot high school size basketball court with six goals, volleyball court, and bleacher seating for 100.  There is a spacious welcome center, preschool classrooms, youth classrooms and lounge, locker rooms, music room, and scout room.
